Welcome, and, assuming you’ve been around on our physical planet for awhile, this is your official welcome to Local Planet.

When Local Planet first took shape, our goal was to connect socially and environmentally minded businesses with like-minded people. But as we began to interact with different people in the community and saw how much good was going on in our own backyard, Local Planet evolved into so much more.

In addition to providing you with discounts and special offers from businesses dedicated to sustainable and socially responsible practices, we will also be a resource for the latest “green and good” news in the community, sharing local stories, links and information.

We know that a lot of people care about where they spend their money but may not have time to research policies and practices. So Local Planet is doing the work for you. We trust that all of our individual decisions culminate in a greater good, and we hope that this site will help you make informed decisions (and save you some money in the process!).
